I've tried to put it back in control panel, but the right resolution isn't in there. But, I've discovered that if you put it into sleep mode agian and wake it up, it works perfectly again. Anyone who can help me solf this problem? It's very annoying. P.S.: Excuse my English because I'm Dutch. *edit* Might be usefull you know my configuration: Celeron D 366 2.8 Ghz MSI 945GZM6-F 2 gig's of 533 Mhz RAM 80 gig HDD DVD-RAM burner on-board video and sound. Hello You have not included monitor model in pc spec, this is why:) I will tell you how to set as super vga but I suggest you to add external video card that have DVI output Problem is that I cannot see standard display with same resolution as on your monitor To change display driver -open device manager then locate display -right click it and click update -click browse my computer. Option -click let me pick from. -uncheck show compatible. Check box -click standard monitors. At left and install monitor you want. Joshua_x8 said: Can't find any options for DVMT or FIXED. There is a option were you can turn HPET (???) on or off, and a option 'VGA Share memory' and you can set it from 8mb till 128 mb. But if I set that one above 64 mb the problem acts up. *edit* Maybe usefull to know that HPET is turned off now. Ok set video memory to 8MB. DVMT is technology that alocates video memory from system RAM dynamically. This means that if video memory is needed for games for example, video driver reserve part of RAM for video, and after that when game is closed and video memory is not needed it returns it to RAM. Setting RAM amount from BIOS over 8MB means that you set fixed part of RAM (64 04 128MB) to be used for video memory. According to possible configurations only case when video RAM can be 8MB is when video is set to MAX DVMT. So setting video memory in BIOS to 8MB must allow maximum video memory to be about 230MB. This is why I suggest you to set it to 8MB, no matter it sounds without logic:) Better enable HPET I have no idea how HPET can be related to video options, because this is timer used by windows. Enabling HPET can improve system performance. Hi Everything is good but why you think your display model is not important when problem is related to it?:) And what is this desktop pc or laptop?
